Last night's 2nd Annual Bryn Mawr A Cappella Festival was an overwhelming success! Thomas Great Hall was standing room only, we heard from 17 collegiate a cappella groups and raised over $2000!!! What a night! Keep an eye out for pictures from the event and more! Our donation site will be open until the end of October, so just because the event is over doesn't mean our fundraising efforts have stopped!
On December 11th, Keys had the distinct pleasure of serenading the Bryn Mawr community at the Harry Potter themed End of Term Feast. This, of course, makes us the newly appointed Official A Cappella Group of Hogwarts. We sang for three packed seatings throughout the night (singing songs that included Double Trouble, Good Old Hogwarts, and holiday favorites), took pictures with Dumbledore, and had an impromptu photo shoot in the Chamber of Secrets!
We have been hard at work to make the 1st Annual Bryn Mawr A Cappella Festival a success, and with over 20 groups coming to perform all we are missing now is an AWESOME audience to perform for! Tell your friends, bosses, family, professors, and favorite staff members to come join us next Saturday, the 27th in TGH at 6:30pm for one of the craziest nights of a cappella Bryn Mawr has ever seen!
Above photo from the last stop on our tour, the University of Scranton. We had an amazing time meeting and singing with Royal Harmony and The Octaves. There was a unanimous decision to return to Scranton for their AMAZING dining hall!!! Posing with, after serenading, a dead white guy in Canada at McMaster University! We had a great time singing with Macappella and enjoying their on-campus pub! |
